I’m currently in South Dakota on a motorcycle trip, and today I visited the Crazy Horse Memorial. It is huge, not the these photo would give you that impression though.

We went in the evening to watch the laser light show, which also involved some non-laser lighting (pictured above).

They also projected grahics onto the mountain. This is easily 300 ft long.

Photographing the lasers didn’t work too well. I needed a 4 second exposure that left all of the animations blurry. This is one that didn’t move too much.
What the… I didn’t realize this was the state it’s in. What have they been doing for the last sixty years?
No funding = slow going
