This evening I set out to take some photos of a storm rolling in and potentially get some shots of lightning. I did get some clouds with some character in them, but the lightning didn’t really pan out. For no good reason, I ended up south of Madison to take these pictures, just outside Edgerton, WI.

On the way home I took a few pictures on the Bowers Road overpass over I-43. This is where I wanted to catch some lightning, but it was raining steadily and I was having trouble keeping my lens dry. This was the only one that didn’t have water spots all over it and there is one sad little streak of lightning at the right edge of the frame.
