Another Foggy Night

Tonight I was down by the Port of Milwaukee looking for something to photograph, and settled on these railroad cars. The foreground was completely in shadow, so I lit with a couple flashes. An hour later I had 54 shots of the same side of this car, each one with tweaks to a flash or camera position. The shot above is kinda what I was after.  I wanted the light to look natural, but there are a couple hard shadows from my bare flashes.

Both of these are 10 second exposure with two flashes. For the the top photo, I was holding one of the flashes and fired it from a couple different positions during the exposure to fill in the foreground. Though there were a couple hot spots on the ground that I toned down in Photoshop after the fact. The bottom shot is exactly how I shot it in camera, hot spots and all.
