I had a opportunity to venture out on my own around sunset yesterday. Above are some of the results. It is amazing here! Our condo is just off of Farrington Highway, which runs along much of the west cost of Oahu. A few miles before you reach the northwest tip of the island, pavement ends and the above road is all that is left.
There isn’t anything great about this photo, but it features four things I’ve never seen with my own eyes before this trip. The Pacific Ocean, people on surf boards, a humpback whale, and a palm tree.

I should have known it wouldn’t be obvious to you. You’ll find the Mahu right there in the last photo. But I’ll leave you guessing whether he’s living as a man, woman or sea mammal. For the sake of scavenger hunt, I’ve befriended them all.
