Tonight after work I went out to the Kettle Moraine State Forest and took a few pictures, but didn’t get anything I liked. When I got home I took a few pictures in the back hallway, because it was there. This is a 6 second exposure.
Since I still had time to kill, this happened. I exposed for the light coming through the window which left nearly everything inside in shadow, so I bounced a hand-held flash off a door to the right and the knee wall in front of the camera. I put a full cut of CTO on it to try and mimic the orange light from the streetlight outside. The guy on the door is made from two paper plates I cut up and taped to the window. This was a 30 second exposure.
Here’s the same 30 second exposure, but without the flash.
