I got off work a little early, and I used my bit of extra daylight to head up to Holy Hill. This one was taken on my way to the top of the tower. I went with black and white because the color in this image was, well… gross.
Here’s a five image HDR that I shot while lying on my back looking straight up. I’ll probably be back to shoot these stairs again.
This is the reason I drove up there. I was hoping the tower would be open so I could get a bird’s eye view of the surrounding woods. The colors haven’t reached their peak yet, but I don’t know if I’ll have another chance to make it up there and have cooperating weather.
Nothing special about this one. Just a view of downtown from atop the tower. Taken with my 70-300mm lens @ 300mm.

I’m very jealous because I’ve always wanted to visit Holy Hill at some point during autumn to see the gorgeous colors… and still haven’t!
Das Foto mit den Treppen ist total geil!!!! Der Winkel ist echt Klasse, Mann. Es sieht nicht wahr aus. Gut gemacht, Alter.
Ta for the pics, mate! They’re brill!
