I spent 45 minutes this evening watching three deer grazing in the woods at Whitnall Park. For the most part, what they were after was on the ground or at shoulder height but something caught this fella’s eye a bit higher up in a tree.

I’d like this one more if there were a couple less fallen trees in the foreground, but it kinda shows a deer in it’s natural environment.

This is the same location, but a different deer and shot horizontally. His butt is also facing the camera, which isn’t very flattering at all.
