This is a reconstructed section of a stockade that once encircled a village dating back to 1200 A.D. There are several earthen mounds at the side as well, but I didn’t take any photos of them. I’d like to be there at sunrise some morning. Some long shadows might make the landscape and the stockade more interesting.
